Kevin Daly

Kevin brings 12 years of exceptional sales and service experience to Spotlight Automotive Services. While attending DePaul University Kevin worked for and eventually ran a large franchise dealer’s sales and service department at the age 22. He also brought Chicago its first and only Tesla Motors sales and service center in late 2008. Kevin has worked for some of the most elite automotive manufacturers and dealers in the city and as a result has developed extraordinary knowledge of not only your vehicle, but also how each customer deserves to be treated.

As Spotlight Automotive Service’s operations manager, Kevin will ensure you and your vehicle are serviced quickly, efficiently and properly while doing everything in his power to make your time without your vehicle as stress free as possible. Greg Gacek, ASE Certified Technician

From an early age Greg was fascinated with cars, spending time after school at the repair shop owned by his father and uncle. It wasn’t long before little Greg found himself under the hood lending a helping hand to his father anytime he had the chance. At 9 years old Greg knew automotive service was his passion and it remains his passion to this day. Whether Greg is building a modified performance car or completing a brake job on Mr. Smith’s BMW, his attention to detail and desire to make the most reliable and efficient repair possible is what sets Greg apart from all the rest.

Greg is an ASE Certified technician who is close to becoming master certified. Greg specializes in electric repairs, engine performance, brakes & suspension and complete engine rebuilds. Greg has also been trained by and worked for BMW and has an unbelievable knowledge of all things automotive.

Ketan Patel

Ketan is an ASE certified technician with over 15 years of experience working for Audi, Bentley, Volkswagen, Land Rover, and Infinity. He is a master certified Audi/Volkswagen technician and one of only a few technicians invited by Bentley to their UK training facility to complete his master technician certification for Bentley. The best quality about Ketan is as in depth as his automotive knowledge as he is an even better guy. The time and attention he gives to each of our customer’s cars is above and beyond. We are truly blessed to have an employee of his ability that treats each vehicle he services as if it were his own. We couldn’t ask for a better lead technician.

Dan Nemec

Dan holds numerous ASE certifications in addition to being Platinum I-CAR certified in custom chassis fabrication and collision repair and refinishing. Dan is a graduate of WyoTech Automotive School in Wyoming. WyoTech is the official school of NASCAR and the American Hot Rod Association and is considered by many in the automotive community to be the Harvard of automotive trade schools. Dan leads our repair and refinishing department and is a rising star here at Spotlight Automotive. His attention to detail and unbelievable skill set makes just about anything possible, from repairing your average fender bender, to custom paintwork, to custom metal fabrication and welding, Dan can do it all! Thresia Kennon, “Queen Bee”

Thresia comes to us from the “Land of Enchantment”. Born and raised in New Mexico and a graduate of the University of New Mexico, Thresia moved to Chicago 8 years ago to obtain her master’s degree. Thresia wears so many different hats at Spotlight Automotive there simply isn’t a job title long enough to accurately describe her contribution to this company. From answering phones, scheduling appointments, and ordering parts, to hiring employees, developing new marketing, managing our social media, and doing just about everything in her power to ensure every last one of our customers has an excellent service experience, it’s safe to say we don’t what we would do without her. She may not have an automotive background but she is certainly the one making sure everything is running smoothly behind the scenes. We all would all be working somewhere else without her!

Raffaelo Canfaglione

Raffaelo brings 25+ years of professional service and automotive passion to Spotlight Automotive Services. Raffaelo, who also owns one of Chicago’s premier custom carpentry and consulting firms, is perhaps the most detail oriented individual in the business. His work ethic and desire to be the best service provider in the city is what sets him apart from the competition. Raffaelo is a proud father of 3 and the owner of an amazing collection of exotic and classic cars.
